Behavior
Hollow Knights of Fire are one kind of the many different Hollow Knights. As with all Hollow Knights, they only appear at night and in this case mostly on forest and desert type islands.
Combat and Tactics
This enemy has two different attack patterns. Upon sight, it will walk towards the player. Once it gets close enough, it will launch a very fast fireball at the player. It is very difficult to avoid this ball. The only hope is that the player was already in the process of strafing the enemy. It can also swing its scythe at nearby players. If hit by the scythe, it will inflict a burn which repeatedly does damage for a few seconds.
There are several ways to defeat a Hollow Knight of Fire. If you are a ranged class, attack it from far away with an water-based weapon. If you are a melee class, your best bet is to get in a few hits while its finishing its attack motion, then back off and dodge the incoming fireball. Then get in close again and repeat. Keep it up until it dies.
